The EmpowHer Run Club’s mission is to empower girls in 3rd–5th grades through movement, confidence-building, faith formation and fun! We aim to foster a love for running and movement while teaching foundational skills, encouraging personal growth, and promoting a positive, inclusive environment. We do this through weekly runs, games, and team challenges. Girls will build strength—physically and mentally—while developing their faith, friendships, healthy habits, and the belief that we can do hard things!
Students practice every week for 8 weeks (90 minutes each). Both faith and fitness are integrated as each week centers on a virtue, a short scripture, and a saint’s example. The progressive training is safe, age-appropriate, and consists of running plus total-body conditioning with loop bands. At the end of the season, there is an optional celebratory school/community Turkey Trot 5K run.

Members of the middle school’s House Council are formed as courageous leaders. They meet and plan events for middle school students throughout the year.

At Saint Joseph Catholic School, faith comes to life through prayer and service! Our Prayer & Service Club helps students grow closer to Christ while putting their faith into action through acts of kindness, service to others, and prayerful fellowship. By learning to recognize the needs of those around them and responding with generous hearts, our students grow as joyful disciples who live out their faith and make a difference in their community.
